UI Scholars Honored with Dissertation Awards
As a part of Graduate Student Recognition Week, six UI graduate alumni were honored with the highest awards the university gives for excellence in research scholarship.Winners of the D.C. Spriestersbach Dissertation Prize and the L.B. Sims Master's Thesis Award spoke about their research. President Skorton, Provost Hogan, Graduate College Dean Keller were present to congratulate the scholars.
