CIC Summer Research Opportunities Program

Looking for a way to explore your options in graduate education? Consider applying for a CIC (Committee on Institutional Cooperation) Summer Research Opportunities Program.

The CIC Summer Research Opportunities Program is a program to expose talented undergraduates to professional and educational opportunities in the academy. The goal of the program is to increase the number of underrepresented students who pursue academic careers by enhancing their preparation for graduate study through intensive research experiences with faculty mentors.

CIC Applications for SROP 2008 will be accepted November 1, 2007 through  February 10, 2008.  Applications specific to the Iowa's SROP can be found here.
