A unique undergraduate experience that enables students to fulfill their intellectual, social, and career objectives

Theme 1: Support expansion of the number of undergraduate students involved in research, scholarship and creative production

• Continue support for Provost's Office coordination of undergraduate research
• Increase support for Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) for undergraduate students from both Iowa and other institutions
• Collaborate with Honors Program to promote undergraduate research participation

Theme 2: Increase student rewards and enhance outcomes of undergraduate research

• Co-sponsor campus-wide activities that showcase student research and scholarship
• Initiate Iowa Reports on Undergraduate Research to provide a "writing for publication" experience for undergraduates

Theme 3: Offer Graduate Education and Application Workshops for undergraduates
