2009 Kenneth T. Key Scholarship for Taiwanese-Born Graduate Students
Eligibility:
The Kenneth T. Key Scholarship will be awarded this year for up to five University of Iowa graduate students born in Taiwan. Students whose tuition is fully paid by another source do not qualify for this award. Awards will be competitive and based on a student's academic record.
Award:
Award recipients will receive a $2,000 tuition scholarship for the 2009-10 academic year, with $1,000 paid each semester. The Kenneth T. Key Scholarship is a one year award, and is not renewable.

How to Apply:
Please submit applications to Dan Berkowitz, Associate Dean, Graduate College, 205 Gilmore Hall.
Applicants must submit the following materials:
- Cover page (download fillable PDF)
- Statement concerning education goals and plans (no more than 300 words)
- One letter of recommendation from a University of Iowa professor in the student's department or program. This letter should be in a sealed envelope with the professor's signature across the seal.
- Proof of birth in Taiwan (such as a photocopy of passport or visa)
