Graduate College Supplementary Travel Funding Request
The Graduate College has a very limited amount of supplementary funds available for graduate student travel, including conference attendance, research, and family emergencies. These awards typically range from $200 to $500 each. Criteria for supplementary funding include:
- Applicant must be a graduate student in a degree program at The University of Iowa at the time of application as well as when funds are awarded.
- Students who are presenting papers or attending internships/courses off-campus are not eligible for consideration. Students presenting a paper should seek funding from GSS and other sources instead.
- A student is eligible for only one supplementary funding request in a fiscal year (July 1 - June 30). Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis as available - there are no deadlines.
- Awards are reimbursed based on expense receipts.
