The campus resources below will help your transition to life in the United States.

Resources for International Scholars and Fellows:

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS)  (F1 or J-1 visa holders only) This office should be your first stop when you arrive on campus. It strives to assist our international scholars before and after their arrival to the Iowa City area.

The website also has a wealth of information that international scholars may find helpful as you settle into campus life.

Faculty & Staff Immigration Services – (H-1B visa holders)
If you have questions about your visa, please talk to a representative in your department first.  If your department cannot answer your question(s), then please have your departmental administrator call and schedule an appointment with somebody in Faculty & Staff Immigration Services.  If you need help obtaining visas for your spouse and/or children, you may also request assistance from this office.
