Medical Aerosols for Respiratory Infectious Diseases

Research Description Our research focuses on developing new aerosols to deliver therapeutics to the lungs for the treatment of and protection against respiratory infectious diseases.
Undergraduate Role To work with an experienced member of the lab on one of the lab's ongoing projects.  The undergraduate will have his/her own research project with defined goals. 
Minimum Qualifications Basic chemistry and biology background.

Modification of Corn Starch

Research Description Use chemistry and enzymology to modify and improve the properties of corn starch - a renewable material.
Undergraduate Role Carry out reactions and run experiments.
Minimum Qualifications Having coursework in Chemistry is a plus.
