International Programs, Editing 

Position Description

Graduate Assistant Academic Year 08/09 (International Programs)

 This position is responsible in assisting the Dean of International Programs with editing and proofing journals and correspondence.

 ·         5 hours per week /12.5% appointment

·         Flexible work schedule

·         August 18, 2008 - June 30, 2009

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proofing and Editing
  • Professional correspondence
  • Record keeping
  • Project tracking

Qualifications and Requirements: 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Knowledge of principles, practices and techniques of editing is required

·         Able to work Flexible hours

·         Extreme Attention to Detail

·         Strong computer skills (MS office Suite)

·         PhD Candidate

·         Experience working with Chicago Manual of Style
