Visiting Our Campus

The Graduate College offers a Campus Visit Program especially designed for undergraduate students in their junior year.  This event provides an opportunity for highly motivated students to learn more about the advantages of pursuing graduate education at The University of Iowa.

Consider planning a weekday trip to campus and meet with someone who teaches in your field of interest. (Make arrangements beforehand with your department to ensure faculty availability.)

The Pomerantz Center

In general, academic departments are happy to arrange visits so you can meet faculty members and tour the department.

Campus tours depart from the Admission Visitors Center weekdays at 10:30am and 2:30pm.  You can also visit the Office of Admissions (107 Calvin Hall) without an appointment, weekdays from 8am-4:30pm.
