English and American Literature Librarian
Amy is the English and American Literature Librarian at the University of Iowa. In this role, she manages a 200K collections budget, provides teaching and research support for English faculty and students, and maintains an academic profile in the fields of literary archives and open educational resource game development. Her book, Archival Bodies: The American Literary Collections Market since 1944, is under contract with the University of Massachusetts Press. Her games, Codex Conquest and Mark, are now a part of Amy’s game lab, Human(ities) Games (https://humangames.lab.uiowa.edu/human-games). Previously, she served as Iowa’s Special Collections Instruction Librarian (2015-2017) and a Council on Library and Information Resources Postdoctoral Fellow in Academic Libraries at the University of Iowa (2013-2015). She obtained her PhD in English from Emory in 2013 and her BA in English and Political Science from the University of Iowa in 2006.
