Diversity and Inclusion
The Graduate College's Office of Graduate Inclusion (OGI) welcomes the opportunity to serve you. The office has been serving graduate students from under-represented populations successfully for years. OGI has wonderful, caring staff members who understand the struggles and joys found in graduate education, as well as the need for a community to facilitate student access and inclusion. Our primary goal is to help you be successful in your pursuit of a graduate degree.
Our graduate students work closely with faculty, graduate peers and will make essential contributions to the university's undergraduate instructional foundation. The Graduate College provides opportunity and access, as well as a supportive community to contribute to the diversity of future successful and resilient academics.
OGI supports this effort in outreach and recruitment, summer undergraduate research (SROP – Summer Research Opportunity Program), networking opportunities, programming and counseling. OGI seeks to create a space in which students can share their particular strategies, concerns and encounters regarding the challenges and successes of negotiating graduate education. We work to foster inclusion, engagement and academic achievement to support the success of each student’s intellectual pursuits and professional goals.
