Research project title

Genetic regulation of endoderm and heart development

Research description

Our laboratory uses zebrafish as animal model to understand the molecular mechanisms by which heart and endoderm is development. We use multidisciplinary approaches including genetic (transgenic and knockout), in vivo imaging, biochemical, and molecular and cellular tools in our studies. We are looking for individuals who have interest in developmental biology.

Undergraduate minimum qualifications

Biology related majors, minimum GPA 3.2

Undergraduate role

1. Zebrafish care, breeding 2. Genotyping 3. Basic molecular biology experiment 4. Assist lab members in projects
